Bray Municipal District Local Area Plan 2025 - Pre-Draft Consultation

Wicklow County Council is launching a public consultation on the pre-draft stage of the Bray Municipal District Local Area Plan 2025, covering the areas of Bray, Enniskerry and Kilmacanogue. This comprehensive plan will shape the future development of these areas across multiple domains including housing, urban design, tourism, retail, heritage, biodiversity, infrastructure and transport.
Residents can participate through the online consultation portal at bray-md-lap-wicklow.hub.arcgis.com/pages/submission, where they can address specific topics or make general submissions. Written submissions can also be sent to the Administrative Officer, Planning Department, Wicklow County Council.
A public information day will be held at Bray Civic Offices on Thursday, 5th December, with sessions from 10:30am to 1pm and 4pm to 7pm. The planning team will be available to answer questions and provide guidance on making submissions. Community groups can arrange one-to-one meetings between 2pm and 4pm by calling 0404 20148.
The current Bray Municipal District Plan (2018-2024) is available for reference at wicklow.ie. All submissions should include the sender's name and contact details, along with any organisational affiliations where relevant.
