Draft Noise Action Plan for County Waterford Waterford City and County Council
Closing Date: 4pm, Wednesday 29th January 2025
Waterford City and County Council has launched a public consultation on its draft Noise Action Plan, which aims to address and reduce road noise levels across the county. The plan focuses on developing strategies to limit exposure to undesirable noise levels while protecting naturally quiet areas.
The draft plan can be viewed in person at customer service desks in Waterford (Bailey's New Street) and Dungarvan (Davitt's Quay) between 9:30am and 4pm until January 15th, 2025. It is also available on the council website.
Submissions can be made online or in writing to Aideen Jacob, Administrative Officer, Roads Section at the Menapia Building in Waterford. All submissions should include the contributor's name, email address, and any relevant organisational affiliations.
This consultation represents an important opportunity for residents to shape the council's approach to noise management and environmental quality in their communities.
