Monument Hill Walk Enhancement - Part 8 Planning
Limerick City and County Council
Closing Date: 4pm, Wednesday 26th February 2025
Limerick City and County Council has initiated a Part 8 planning process for improvements to Monument Hill Walk at Marine Cove, Foynes. The project includes re-grading existing concrete stairs, creating a new viewing area, installing boundary fencing, reconfiguring the walking trail to the Stephen Edmond Spring Rice Memorial Cross Monument, and developing informal play areas.
Plans can be viewed at Limerick City and County Council offices at Merchant's Quay and Dooradoyle Road during office hours, or online at https://mypoint.limerick.ie until February 12th. Environmental screenings have determined that neither an Environmental Impact Assessment nor a full Appropriate Assessment is required.
Submissions can be made in writing to Rural, Culture, Community and Tourism Development at Merchant's Quay, by email to planning@limerick.ie, or through the online planning portal. Only submissions made through these channels will be considered valid for the Mayor's Report.
